We're looking forward to this weekend's shows....got quite a few acts lined up on both nights and at both venues...not to mention it's St. Patty's Day weekend! (so at least one of us will be talkin' funny)

...Poor Yorick had a lovely time yesterday evening at the Austin Convention Center while performing live in the POLK AUDIO sound booth.  A strange and invigorating experience, to say the least, as hoards of people wandered by the booth, listened to the live feed,.. some coming into the headphone areas for a more intimate experience through some very nice headphones.

Looks like we've got some "downbeat" times for POOR YORICK's  appearances during the sxsw week.

On 3/15, Friday,

8:00 pm.

There will be other acts before and after so come ealy and stay late!

Of course, PY will also be doing the usual "first friday" show on April 5th, Friday, at Waterloo Ice House (38th street)...So put it all on your calender and we'll see you there!

SXSW?

We've been asked on occasion concerning when and where we might be playing during SXSW week coming in March.  The tuth is that our submission fee to the festival was accepted,..though our submission itself was not.  Alas,.. denied at the very brink of stardom yet again.

HOWEVER!..not to be silenced altogether during that week, POOR YORICK will be appearing in consecutive (dare we say "alternative") showcases...on 3/15 at Waterloo Ice House, 38th street (our usual digs) and then the following evening, 3/16 at Waterloo Ice House at Southpark Meadows!..a new venue for us.  We are told that there will be plenty of other acts in these showcases as well and POOR YORICK's specific "downbeat" times have yet to be assigned,..but we'll make sure we get the word out once plans have firmed up. 

Of course, PY will also be doing the usual "first friday" show on March 1st...So put it all on your calender and we'll see you there!
